A Clear Path for Complex Outdoor Projects
Our Proven Process
Outdoor construction works best when expectations are clear and communication stays consistent. Our process is designed to remove guesswork, keep projects organized, and make sure you always know what’s happening on your property.

How Our Process Works
Start With a Direct Conversation
Your first call goes straight to Gene. We talk through what you’re planning, what challenges you’re dealing with, and what kind of result you want from the space. This call helps confirm the right next step and ensures your project is a good fit for our team.
01
On-Site Review and Clear Proposal
A sales representative meets you at your property to walk the site, review conditions, and discuss options. This includes grading considerations, access, drainage, and any permitting or engineering requirements.
You receive a detailed, line-item proposal so you can clearly see what’s included, how the work is sequenced, and how the project is priced.
02
Planning, Permits, and Scheduling
Once approved, our office team coordinates permits, engineering, and scheduling. If a project benefits from being completed in phases, we outline that approach upfront.
Before work begins, you know:
When the project is scheduled
Who your main point of contact is
What to expect during construction
03
Build and Daily Communication
For projects lasting more than a day, your project manager starts a daily update thread. You receive regular progress updates, schedule confirmations, and clear answers to questions as the work moves forward.
Our crews handle site work, construction, and cleanup with care so your property stays organized throughout the process.
04
Final Walkthrough and Satisfaction Review
Once the work is complete, we review the project with you to confirm everything meets expectations. Any final details are addressed before the job is closed out.
We believe the end of a project should feel organized and complete, not rushed or unclear.
05
Why This Process Matters
Large outdoor projects involve many moving parts. Clear roles, consistent communication, and defined steps help prevent delays, confusion, and missed details.
Our process keeps everyone aligned so you can move forward with confidence and stay informed at every stage.

Proof the Process Works
“Amazing company. I had seen their ads, and my neighbor up the street were using them, so I figured I'd give them a call. I dealt with Jimmy for pretty much everything. They were able to give me the best price out of the all the local businesses. The crew was absolutely amazing. Finished a ton of work in three days, and did even more than I was expecting! They even cleaned up super well. I could not recommend McKenzie enough! I will definitely be calling them when it's time to install my patio.”
